This is one my first altar pieces to the 'Maid of Orleans' . Though much of her early life remains a mystery there was one thing that captured my attention the most that an illiterate peasant girl changed the history of Europe forever. Yet the betrayal of the King lead to her death but also her sainthood. I find learning more about her but through her I also find my faith deepening as well.
