This the second installment of a series that I am working on called "Strong Women". It is a portrait based on the medieval German abbess Hildegard von Bingen. She was such a popular teacher and abbess that women from all over Europe came just tp learn from her. She was also a brilliant composer with over a hundred pieces of music where her and her nun would sing as a more of prayer. She also was a artist and made almost mandala like mystic illuminated manuscripts, in addition she work many books including medical texts that are proven effective to this day. For the powers that be she was written out of history only to be rediscover by a few dedicate feminist scholars that wanted to bring her work to light again. Only until recently her compositions are being sung again.
